Papers available are those for the years 1936-1939 inclusive. 27 NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN DAIRYING This Examination, instituted in 1897, is conducted by “ The National Dairy Examination Board,” appointed jointly by the Royal Agricultural Society of England, the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, and the British Dairy Farmers” Association. REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATION IN THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF DAIRYING EXAMINATION IN 1940. Note—THE REGULATIONS AND SYLLABUS HAVE BEEN REVISED IN RESPECT OF THE EXAMINATION To BE HELD IN 1941. See p. 38. 1. The Societies may hold annually in England and in Scotland, under the management of the National Dairy Examination Board appointed by them, one or more examinations for the National Diploma in the Science and Practice of Dairying; the Diploma to be distinguished shortly by the letters ‘ N.D.D.’ 2. The Examinations will be hold on dates and at places from time to time appointed and duly announced. 3. Forms of Entry for the Examination in England may be obtained from “ The Secretary, Royal Agricultural Society of Eng- land, 16 Bedford Square, London, “7.0.1,” and must be returned to him duly filled up, with the entry fee, on or before Saturday, 20th July 1940. 4. Forms of Entry for the Examination in Scotland may be obtained from “ The Secretary, Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, 8 Eglinton Crescent, Edinburgh 12,” and must be returned to him duly filled up, with the entry fee, on or before Monday, 29th July 1940. 5. Any candidate may enter for the Examination either in Eng- land or Scotland, but not in both, and a. candidate Who has once taken part in an Examination in England cannot enter for an Examination in Scotland, or vice versa. An exception may be made in favour of a candidate rca/ppearing under Regulation 11 (3) provided special application is made at the time of entry. |
